The car was originally sold new in October 1967 and later changed ownership in March 1977, January 2015, and May 2021. The current owner is the fourth custodian and purchased the vehicle in its present condition.
During his ownership, the car took part in two local rallies—winning both. Powered by a smooth-running 1500cc engine and equipped with front disc brakes, this is clearly an improved version compared to earlier Karmann Ghias, offering more confident performance and enhanced drivability.
The color combination is truly stunning: Pine Green exterior paired with a beige “Sonneland” soft top and a Light Sand interior. A timeless and elegant specification that perfectly suits the model.
A particularly desirable feature is the rare Empi VDM Coach steering wheel, a sought-after period accessory that enhances both the driving experience and the car’s collector appeal.
