The current owner acquired the car in June 2024 from Revs Automotive Garage who had since invested time and care into refining an earlier restoration. The focus was clear: to create a Beetle that not only looks the part, but drives exactly as it should—smooth, trustable, and enjoyable.

Mechanically, the car was thoroughly checked and sorted in 2024, and it shows. The engine runs beautifully, the gearbox shifts as it should, and braking performance is confident and reassuring. The car feels tight, solid, and dependable on the road—exactly what you want from a classic you can actually use.

Recent improvements include:

* New wiring loom
* Refreshed braking system
* Updated interior
* New tires
* Various mechanical fine-tuning

The bodywork has been repainted in the past. While this older repaint shows some signs of age upon close inspection, the overall presentation remains very appealing. Structurally, the car is solid and does not require any welding. Naturally, as with any classic of this age, there is always room for further cosmetic perfection—but importantly, nothing stands in the way of immediate enjoyment.
